  • Anjana is from a Hindu Maharashtrian family. Her father Dinanath Manjrekar was a fire brigade worker and her mother Mangla
    Manjrekar was a homemaker. She also has a brother named Sudhir Manjrekar and a sister Madhu Manjrekar. Her brother worked at the Bank of India until retirement whereas her sister worked as an actress in Indian movies. She had an interest in films from an early age. She didn’t have much interest in her studies but she managed to clear her tenth board exams.
